Day 1 : Agra
Leave Delhi for Agra. Visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, Agra Fort and of course, Taj Mahal.
Day 2 : Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur
Drive to Fatehpur Sikri, deserted Mughal capital city, and visit the Bird Sanctuary of Bharatpur. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 3 : Jaipur
Full day sightseeing in the pink city. Discover the sandstone palaces (City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh). Elephant ride at Amber Fort. Shopping in the bazaars of the old city, a major center for handicrafts.
Day 4 : Bikaner
By road to Bikaner, the principal outpost of the desert, where you can admire Jain and Muslim art (Bhandasar & Sandeshwar Temples, Lalgarh Palace…). Later, visit the camel-breeding farm.
Day 5 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Visit the palaces of Junagarh Fort in the morning (Flowers Palace, Hawa Mahal, Anup Mahal…). After lunch, drive to Jaisalmer.
Day 6 : Jaisalmer
Check out Jaisalmer, in the heart of the sand dunes, with its lively fort that protects a Maharaja Palace and seven Jain temples. Outside the fort, don't forget the Hindu Laxminath Temple, and visit the painted mansions (Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli…).
Day 7 : Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur, the 16th century capital of the Rathore Rajputs. Afternoon, tour its awesome Mehrangarh Fort, which dominates the blue city. Visit also Jaswant Thada Memorial, Chamunda Devi Temple, Umaid Gardens…
Day 8 : Ranakpur - Kunmbhalgarh
En route to Mount Abu, visit the Jain temples of Ranakpur, and then the Khumbhalgarh Fort, which protects hundreds of temples, palaces, gardens and baoris. Sunset at Mount Abu.
Day 9 : Mount Abu
Have a breath of fresh air in Mount Abu, enjoy its natural attractions and Jain temples (Vimal Vasahi, Tejpal Temple, Elephant House…). Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 10 : Udaipur
Discover the most romantic city of Rajasthan, with its splendid temples, palaces and havelis (Crystal Gallery of City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Bagore-ki-Haveli…). Boating on Lake Pichola.
Day 11 : Sariska
Drive to Sariska National park, once the hunting reserve of the Maharajas of Alwar, and observe tigers, deers, langurs…
Day 12 : Delhi
