India Peacock Travel is a trademark of Peacock Tours Private Limited, a company legally incorporated in New Delhi as Tour Operator. We are a member of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO).
We offer quality tours in India, willing to share our knowledge about the country and our passion for travel.
The company is run and developed by its two associates, Farooq Shala and Marie-Chanel Gillier.
- Farooq Shala :
« I grew up in Kashmir when the region was highly touristic. Numerous interactions with travelers from all over the world have urged me to launch into adventure. I traveled all around the world, curious to experience life and meet people.
Upon returning, I created my own travel agency in Delhi: Jonathan Livingstone Seagull Travels. My aim was to help tourists find their bearings and enjoy their trip in India. My globe-trotter experience is an asset to understand them and anticipate their needs and interrogations.
The company founding principles have remained the same:

- Meticulous selection of local partners
- Constant adaptation to customers' requirements
In 2003, we launched our first website. Jonathan Livingstone Seagull Travels was renamed India Peacock Travel on the occasion. »
- Marie-Chanel Gillier :
« I entered India Peacock Travel in 2004, when it started growing on the Internet. We progressively realized that the website was not only our window, but that it implied strategical changements.
Indeed Internet enables us to develop a personalized relationship with each client, built on trust and transparency.
During my studies in HEC School of management (France), I chose the specialization in Alternative Management. It encouraged me to try and practice alternative forms of entrepreneurship, responsible for its clients but also for local stakeholders and regions.

We form a strong and independent team with complementary skills. We do not target a high number of clients, as we mobilize lot of energy and time for each trip which we organize.
