Day 01 : Bangalore
Capital of Karnataka, Bangalore is one of the most progressive cities of India, as you will notice while moving around Mahatma Gandhi Road (MG Road) through fast foods, bars and malls.

Day 02: Bangalore
Take a short excursion to Nrityagram - a center for learning of Indian classical dances set up by noted Odissi dancer Protima Bedi. After lunch visit Cubbon Park, Lal Baug, Tipu Sultan Fort, Bull Temple… Discover Bangalore Palace, a copy of Windsor Castle built by the rajas of Mysore in 1880.

Drive to Mysore, the throbbing cultural city of Karnataka. After some leisure guided sightseeing of the Maharaja's Palace, Chamundi hills, Brindavan garden and a silk factory.

Day 04 : Udhagamandalam (Ooty)
Drive to Ooty which covers breathtaking scenery on the way. Day at leisure.

Day 05 : Ooty
Built by the British 200 years ago, Ooty evokes villages of South England. Visit Tribal Research Center, Botanical Gardens, St Stephen's Church… Option of hiking and trekking in shola (forest) of Nilgiri Mountains.

Day 06 : Kodaikanal
Drive further to Kodaikanal - only hill station in India set up by Americans. It is a pleasant shelter far from the heat and the fog of the plains.

Day 07 : Kodaikanal
Morning move out to visit the Flora and Fauna Museum and Kurinji Andavar Temple. Later hike in the quiet sholas (forests) and waterfalls. wildlife sanctuary india

Day 08 : Madurai
Drive to Madurai, which has been a spiritual center of pilgrimage and teaching since centuries. Visit Dravidian masterpiece Meenakshi Sundereshwar Temple, and Tirumalai Nayak Palace, which used to be a splendid Muslim palace.

Day 09 : Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary India
Drive upwards towards Kerala hills and finally reach Periyar National Park - the best wildlife sanctuary in India to see wild elephants. Day free to explore on your own.

Day 10 : Periyar
Boat excursion over Periyar Lake, in the middle of the jungle.

Picturesque drive to Kumarakom, an island with extremely serene atmosphere. Experience Kerala's backwaters, which are formed by a vast network of lagoons, rivers, lake and canals. After lunch, excursion in Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary...

Day 12 : Kochi (Cochin)
Drive to Kochi, the cultural and commercial hub of Kerala. Watch a spectacular Kathakali performance along with its make-up process. Evening free to explore the vibrant markets.

Day 13 : Kochi / Departure
Different communities (Jewish, Muslim, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch…) have long cohabited in Kochi, which makes it very eclectic, for the pleasure of the wanderer. Walk in the narrow streets and visit monuments: 16th century Jewish synagogue and Catholic Church, Fort Cochin, Dutch Palace...
